Rocco and Lady in Old Sacramento May 2010

My name is Terri Avery. My husband Ken and I are the proud owners of two show dogs. CH Tinker Tailor Pocket Maker "Rocco" (AKA "Rocco Man")
and CH Rose's Grand Lady of Riverview "Lady".

Rocco and I, both new to the ring, started showing on June 9, 2007. Our first win was on August 18, 2007 in Enumclaw, WA the week of the Puget Sound Pug Dog Club's Specialty. We won Best of Winners and a 5 point major. What a thrilling way to start! Rocco won his second 3 point major at the limited breed Nor-Cal Toy Dog Fanciers show in San Jose, CA on February 15, 2008. I finished Rocco to his championship on April 13, 2008 in Sacramento, CA. We finished by winning Best of Breed from the classes!

Being an inexperienced handler when I started, I'm proud to have finished Rocco to his championship in 10 months and 7 ribbons. I am especially proud that as a Special Rocco has gone Best of Breed over three of the top five Pugs in the country!

Lady became part of the pack in January 2010. She went Best of Breed (puppy) at the 2010 SVDFA B-Match on March 13, 2010. It was her first time in the ring and did beautifully! Lady also went Reserve Winners Bitch at the Pug Dog Club Of America National Specialty on 09/17/2010 under respected breeder Judge Dr. Harry Smith!! What an honor!! Lady finished her Championship on April 09, 2011 and did it in STYLE by taking Best of Breed from the classes and a Toy Group 3rd! Lady and Rocco had a beautiful litter of puppies on October 5, 2011. We have high hopes for them and are proud of how they are turning out.
